엘리트 장애인 선수들이 지각한 동기분위기가 스포츠몰입 및 만족도에 미치는 영향

초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of perceived motivational climate on sport commitment and participation satisfaction among elite athlete with disabilities who is participated in national athletic tournament. A total of 168 athletes were recruited for this study across various impairments. The structural equation modeling (SEM) was employed to test proposed hypothesis. First, results of study indicated that mastery climate positively predicted sport commitment(cognitive and behavior), and satisfaction. Second, results of study indicated that performance climate negatively associated with sport commitment(cognitive and behavior) and satisfaction, however there were no statistically significant associations. For gender difference, the results of the SEM invariance test across the gender indicated that there was no significance gender difference, but woman showed positive association with both mastery and performance climate with sport commitment and satisfaction. In conclusion, the findings of this study suggest that instructors and coaching staff should consider to create mastery climate to improve athletes’ level of commitment and satisfaction.
