A convenient synthesis of <i>β</i>-ketophosphine oxides via Ag-mediated oxidative phosphorylation of α-bromostyrenes

Ag-mediated radical phosphorylation of alpha-bromostyrenes with diphenylphosphine oxides is described. This approach represents a convenient method for the preparation of beta-ketophosphine oxides with moderate to good yields under mild reaction conditions.
