심부체온 상승이 폐경 비만 여성의 림프구감소증 억제에 미치는 효과

The Effect of Increased Core Temperature on the Inhibition of Lymphopenia in Obese Menopause women

초록

This study explored whether thermotherapy affect to core temperature, T cell, B cell and NK cell impacting human immunity. Fifteen menopausal obese women (age; 53.62 ± 4.21 years, height; 160.83 ± 5.16cm, weight; 64.37 ± 5.80kg, %body fat; 31.85 ± 4.22) underwent thermotherapy (half-body immersion, 40±0.5°C, 30 min). Before and After thermotherapy, the levels of tympanic temperature (Tty), T cell, B cell and NK cell were compared. The results of the study are as follows, Tty was significantly increased (### p<.001). T cell (## p<.01), B cell (### p<.001) and NK cell (## p<.01) level were significantly increased after thermotherapy. In conclusion, thermotherapy is effective in inhibit lymphopenia via raising core temperature. Furthermore, it is believed that resistance to infectious diseases can be increased.
