A Study on Literary and Colloquial Readings with Inflexion of Dangshe & Jiangshe in Mordern Pekingese

초록

The pronunciation pattern of modern Pekingese, which lost Middle Chinese’s specific group of inflexion(入聲字) such as “Dangshe(宕攝)”, “Jiangshe(江攝)”, is as below. Type 1. Same pronunciation with Xiaoshe(效攝) Type 2. Same pronunciation with Guoshe(果攝 ) Type 3. The ones which have two pronunciations of type 1 and 2. There is no group of inflexion such as Rushengyun(入聲韻) in the modern Pekingese as we are well aware of. After Rushengyun(入聲韻) is disappeared from modern Pekingese, it has been merged with another group of vowel(陰聲韻), so there become phenomenon of “literary & colloquial readings” . This paper analyzes current pattern of vowels with inflection(宕, 江攝入聲字) in modern Pekingese, restructures each pattern’s merger process in terms of phonology. Through this process, I analyzed euphonic change about the phenomenon of “literary & colloquial readings” on vowels with inflexion, and its periodic hierarchy. As a result, I could find distinctive characteristics which are outcome of interaction among dialects of historical periods. In addition, I could discover the fact that colloquial reading, which merged with Xiaoshe, has been formed before the “ZhongyuanYinyun”, also the literary reading, which merged with Guoshe, has been formed after the “ZhongyuanYinyun”.
