외국어 학습 불안 양상 연구 ― 중국 대학 외국어학과 학생을 대상으로 ―

초록

Minor languages in China usually refer to foreign languages other than English. Students majoring in minor languages are under more pressure than students majoring in other majors since they begin to learn a new language after entering college. At present, more and more attention has been paid to the learning emotions of students majoring in foreign languages, but little attention has been paid to the students of minor language majors. By using the Chinese version of the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS) compiled by Horwitz et al., which is adapted by Wang Caikang, this paper tests the foreign language anxiety of 303 students majoring in minor languages in Hebei University of Hebei Province in China, and analyzes the collected data by SPSS19.0. The result shows that major, grade, place of origin and the way of entering the major all have different degrees of influence on foreign language anxiety, lower dimension factors (i.e. communication apprehension, test anxiety and fear of negative evaluation), and curriculum anxiety of minor language major students. Based on these findings, the author puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of language education.
