흡연이 경동맥 혈류속도 및 심박동수에 미치는 영향

초록
This study has been conducted to examine the effects of smoking on carotid blood velocity and heart rate used by ultrasound equipment. This study conducted a survey of 36 smokers with ultrasound equipment and the method of bedside monitor. They respectively smoked four different types of cigarettes with different contents of tar and nicotine. As they smoked 6 times at intervals of 10 seconds, every time it checked their blood velocity(peak systolic and end diastolic), heart rate. Values are presented as mean±SD. The systolic and diastolic blood velocity, heart rate and the change of blood pressure(systolic and diastolic) before and after smoking are measured by paired t-test and ANOVA. When the value of p<0.05, it was significant. Before smoking, the heart rate of the smoker group(75.8 beats/minute) is significantly faster than that of the non-smoker group(62.5beats/minute) (p<0.001). With smoking, the increasing or decreasing of carotid systolic and diastolic velocity have not significant differences. There were not significant differences caused by the type of cigarettes. As the number of smoking times increases, every measured heart rate of all the types of cigarettes was linearly increased significantly(respectively p<0.001). Consequently, as the number of smoking times increases, the heart rate significantly tend to be increased linearly without the contents of tar and nicotine and the type of cigarettes. Although smokers use any type of cigarettes, smoking is considered exercising has a harmful effect on the human body.
