초록

Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) play a crucial role in healthcare and various other domains by enabling continuous monitoring of vital signs and activities. However, challenges such as low -powered sensors, unstable links, and routing issues hinder their efficiency and reliability. In this paper, we propose the Thermal Aware High Throughput (TAHT) routing protocol to address these challenges. TAHT utilizes a multi -hop topology and prioritizes stable links for efficient routing, considering parameters like energy, link quality, and temperature. Through experimental evaluation, TAHT demonstrates a 10% to 20% improvement in throughput, a 15% reduction in temperature overheads, and enhanced overall performance compared to benchmark protocols. By effectively managing energy consumption, minimizing duplicate data transmissions, and optimizing routing paths, TAHT offers a novel solution to improve the reliability and sustainability of WBANs, thus advancing the field beyond previous efforts in the literature.
